Last weekend, we headed up to the North Shore for Jodi and Mejee's beautiful wedding at Camp Homelani. These two were married overlooking the gorgeous blue ocean, and it was serenely beautiful. Congratulations again guys; we wish you all the best!

The Jacoby Family
This week I got to hang out with the Jacoby family at Lanikai beach for a family photo session. Their two girls were quite the models, and had fun splashing in the ocean. Thanks guys, for the fun morning, and enjoy the rest of your Hawaiian vacation!

Emily + Greg
This past weekend, Jessica and I got to shoot Emily and Greg's gorgeous wedding at Ko'olau Ballrooms in Kaneohe. The day began with getting ready at the Sheraton Waikiki, and then we headed over the Ko'olau's to the Windward side. The wedding coordinators, Vows In Paradise, did an amazing job at creating an elegant and classy event, and I know that Emily had a hand in every part as well. We had so much fun partying it up with their friends and family, many of whom had flown all the way from Tahiti for the event. Congratulations again Emily and Greg; you guys are a special couple who deserve all the happiness in the world!

Tamara + Mike + Jackson + Ford = Happiness!
So, ya'll have seen the photos I have posted with my nephew Jackson and his new little brother Ford... totally cute, right? Well, we did another photo session in Colorado with the whole family, and went all out in the Americana style! Their red, white and blue house was the perfect backdrop, complete with an American flag. I love you guys, and am so happy to have been there to capture these precious moments!

The Pinzon Family
It's time to say Aloha to the Pinzon family as they will be leaving the islands this next week. Before they left, we had to visit beautiful Bellows beach in Waimanalo one more time for a family portrait session, and I am so glad we did! Their adorable little girl Alyssa did so well, and liked dipping her toes in the ocean! Goodbye Pinzon family; you will be missed! Come visit soon!

Of course we had to do a newborn/big brother photo session with them! Here are my favorites from the day. Congratulations Tamara and Mike, on your new little cutie... I can't wait to spoil him!

A Midsummer's Night Hope Fundraiser Event
This past Sunday night, Jerome and I had the privilege to volunteer our photography services at a fundraising event for a great cause at Sunset Ranch on the North Shore. Courage Worldwide is an organization that builds homes worldwide for children rescued from sex trafficking. Their next goal is to raise enough money to build a home on the North Shore of Oahu.
According to the U. S. Department of Justice, human trafficking has become the second fastest growing criminal industry - just behind drug trafficking - with children accounting for roughly half of all victims. It is hard to imagine that this injustice is happening right here in our beautiful Hawaii, but it is! Please visit their website by clicking here, to learn more about what this amazing organization is doing, or how you can donate and help raise awareness.

Jo & Ken's Lanikai sunrise session
Jo and Ken enjoyed their vowal renewal session on the North Shore so much, that they decided to do another session with me while on vacation. I loved seeing them again! For this session, they chose to do a sunrise shoot at Lanikai beach. The morning light was stunning, and faded into a dramatic overcast and diffused light... a photographers dream! Thanks again guys, and I hope to see you agin on future Hawaii vacations!
