The Labaya Family

Last week I had the privilege of meeting up with the Labaya family again for a golden-hour photo session!  The Labaya's had their Christmas photos taken back in October (see them here), but this time around they had the extended family with them, including Grandma and Grandpa; so fun!  Thanks for having me document your family memories, and enjoy the sneak peek!

The Pinzon Family

I loved hanging out with some old friends that were visiting Hawaii this past week for a photo session, Stephanie and Jose, and their sweet little girl.  We got to explore Halona Cove, aka "Eternity Beach" and were amazed by the beauty of the waves and lava rock formations.  Thanks guys, for a fun afternoon, can please, can you guys move back to Hawaii soon?? :)

Jerrid Return's Home!

I feel so honored to have been able to photograph the return home of this soldier to his beautiful family. Jerrid was gone for 6 months, so his return was of course a happy one!  Thank you guys for having me be apart of this special moment for you… love you guys!

The Labaya Family

I loved shooting this session of the Labaya family at the amazing Moanalua Gardens!  The trees were just incredible, and we had some amazing golden hour lighting.  Their 2 year old daughter stole the show with her adorable smiles and her excitement for the ducks!  Thanks guys for the fun afternoon at the gardens!

The Ikemiyagi Family

I had so much fun hanging out with this wonderful extended family at Lanikai beach for a fun photo session!  These cute cousins had me on the move to catch their expressions, and we all had a great time playing in the sand.  Thanks guys for a great session!

The Landry Family

Colors, colors, colors!  The Landry family and I got to spend a beautiful afternoon at Waimanalo beach, and were blown away by the bright vibrant colors!  I had the privilege of taking their maternity photos a few months ago (view here), so it was so great to be able to reconnect with them, and meet their darling baby girl, Marlina, before their move next month.  The islands will miss you guys as you begin this next adventure in life on the mainland.  A hui hou!

The Genelly Family

I had an opportunity to meet up with the Genelly family while they were on vacation here on Oahu, celebrating their 20 wedding anniversary, and take some family photos.  We got to explore Ko'olina Beach, and enjoy an amazing sunset!  Thanks guys, for having me document this special time for your family, and congratulations on the 20 year milestone!

Jacob's 1st Birthday Party!

Watch out ladies… there is a little cutie in town that just turned ONE!  I got to hang out with Jacob and his family at his Nautical-inspired birthday party here in Kailua this past month.  Everyone (including me) had so much fun, with balloons artists, the pool, a bouncy house, and Teddy's Bigger Burgers for lunch!  Congratulations Jacob, on turning the big number one, and many blessings to you in this coming year!

The Hughes Family

My dear friends, the Hughes family, had a big old family reunion with Grandparents and siblings, and decided it was a great time to document the event with some family photos!  We got to do their session right at the beautiful home they rented right on Lanikai beach, the John Walker House, and even walk down to the beach for a bit.  Thanks guys for having me be a small part of your reunion time!

The Mathews Family

The Mathews family visited Oahu this month with their extended family, and I and the privilege of meeting up with them on the North Shore for a family photo session.  We explored the beach at Malaekahana, and it was amazingly beautiful!  Thanks guys, for a fun afternoon, and having me be a small part of your vacation!

The Burt Family

This past week, I got to hang out with the Burt family at Ho'omaluhia Botanical Gardens and take some family photos.  Their older son and his family were in town visiting, so they wanted to do a session while they were all together, and of course with their ADORABLE grandkids (who stole the show)!  Thanks guys; I enjoyed documenting these memories for you!

The L'Heureux Family

Last week I was so excited to be able to meet up with past wedding clients of mine for a family portrait session (you can take a peek at highlights from Delia and Jason's Moli'i Gardens wedding here).  We met up with them and their family at Ho'omaluhia Gardens, and took advantage of the beautiful diffused light from the overcast afternoon.  Thanks guys for the reunion and the fun afternoon!

Cassandra's Maternity Session

This past weekend I got to hang out with the Aquino family at Ko'olina Beach for a fun maternity session.  Cassandra is just glowing with excitement, and you can tell her family is too.  Congratulations guys; I can't wait to meet baby girl at her newborn session soon!

The Pyrek Family

The Pyrek family and I headed down to Waimanalo beach for a fun family session!  The overcast day made for some beautiful diffused light and a perfect cool temperature.  Thanks guys, for a fun afternoon!

The Jensen Family

Just before Christmas, I had the privilege of taking family photos for my cousins, the Jensen's!  I love their growing family, and had so much fun with them at Kailua beach, and then the park by Kawainui marsh.  Merry Christmas, and I am so glad we got to spend this time together during the holidays!

The Hepburn Family

This week I got to hang out at Lanikai beach with old family friends, Kim, Mark, David and Holly Hepburn, and Ashley and Dave Pierce!  We got up extra early to catch the sunrise, and it was SO worth it!  The colors were just beautiful.  Each sunrise I see over Lanikai reminds me just how creative God is, and thank Him for the gift of the beauty of nature.  Thanks guys, for the great session!

The Brandt Family

This year I had the privilege to shoot the Brandt family's portrait once again.  It has been so much fun to take their family photos throughout the past few years and see their kids grow up to young adults. Merry Christmas to my favorite Kaneohe family!

The Rollo Family

This past week I got to hang out with the Rollo family at the beautiful Ho'omaluhia Gardens in Kaneohe.  The are expecting their third child soon, and their love between all of them and this new little one the way was so evident!  Congratulations guys; you have a beautiful family!

The Labaya Family

Amber, Anthony and Allie met me down at Lanikai beach this past week for a family portrait session.  Their little girl Allie is turning one this month, and they have much to celebrate!  Thank you guys for being so much fun, and Allie, thanks for sharing your sweet birthday-girl smiles!

The Jakubowski Family

This past week Katie, Jared and I headed down to Lanikai beach with their two adorable little ones for a final family portrait before they move from Hawaii.  I haven't seen the sky so blue in a really long time, especially after such a stormy week!  Thank you Jakubowski family for asking me to capture your family in beautiful Hawaii before you leave.  A hui hou!
