Just Married!

Two days after their wedding, Leila, JJ and I headed back down to Lanikai beach for a fun "Just Married" shoot.  Part of the theme of their wedding day included red balloons (which JJ also used in his proposal to Laila), so I love how they incorporated that theme into this shoot.  So fun!

This past week we had so much fun shooting Leila and JJ's fun-loving wedding, right on Lanikai beach. What a pleasure it was to hang out with these two lovebirds, at such a beautiful beach on the perfect day!  The party continued at Faith Baptist Church in Kailua, where they were surrounded by the love of their family and friends.  Congratulations Leila and JJ; we are so happy for you!

Melissa + Jayson

Okay, folks... check out this amazing wedding we got to shoot this past week at Waikiki.  Melissa and Jayson were married on a tiny little beach park in Diamond Head, and then PADDLED their way into the sunset to their reception at the Outrigger Canoe Club!  They are the coolest Bride and Groom ever!  Thanks guys for the fun evening, and congratulations!

Meet Baby Avery

I had the great privilege of shooting baby Avery's newborn portraits this past week at Lanikai Beach.  He was such a sweet little man, and new Mom and Dad were so proud.  Congratulations, and welcome to the word, Avery.  You are much loved!

Katie + John

Jerome and I had so much fun shooting Katie and Dave's classy wedding this past Friday!  They were married at Holy Trinity Church near Kahala, and continued the party at the Waialae Country Club, just down the road.  I love that Katie described her wedding colors as "Elegant Rasta"... they sure were bright and beautiful!  Congratulations, Katie and John!

Muller & Uehara Family portraits

We had some stormy weather on the Windward side of the island this past week; but that didn't slow the Muller's and Uehara's down from heading down to Lanikai beach for a family portrait session!  John and Katie will tie the knot in just a few days, and with all the family in town, it was the perfect occasion to take photos. We also stopped by Kawainui marsh in Kailua for a second shooting location, and it was just beautiful so early in the morning.  Thanks guys, for a fun morning of shooting!  I can't wait to be your wedding day photographer!

Quintell + Steven

This weekend we had the privilege of shooting Quintell and Steven's wedding in Waikiki.  They were married in the gorgeous Crystal Chapel at the Hilton Hawaiian, and followed the ceremony with a celebration at the Hale Koa Hotel just down the road.  This couple was so much fun to hang out with all day!  Congratulations Quintell and Steven!

The Rich Family at Ko'olina

I had so much fun shooting the Rich family portraits last night at Ko'olina.  The evening was so peaceful, their two girls had so much fun exploring the beach, and we all loved watching the sun go down!  Thank you Keith, Marjorie, Sophia and Lily, for a great session!

Annie + Ryan

This past weekend, Annie and Ryan were married at the beautiful Sacred Hearts Church in Honolulu.  It was such a special ceremony, and they were surrounded with so much love from their family and friends!  The party continued late into the night at the Hale Koa Hotel in Waikiki, and everyone seemed to have a blast!   Jerome and I were blown away at the talent that was present at the reception, from the bride to the family to the guests! Congratulations, Annie and Ryan; it was such a pleasure to be apart of your special day!

Jenna & Lincoln's Engagement Session

This past weekend I had a great time at Kapiolani Park for another beautiful evening of shooting!  Jenna and Lincoln, you guys were so awesome; I love that you really let loose and enjoyed your shoot, and didn't even let getting doused by a wave slow down the fun!  I am so excited to shoot your wedding this coming fall.  Congratulations on your engagement!
