Jacob's 1st Birthday Party!

Watch out ladies… there is a little cutie in town that just turned ONE!  I got to hang out with Jacob and his family at his Nautical-inspired birthday party here in Kailua this past month.  Everyone (including me) had so much fun, with balloons artists, the pool, a bouncy house, and Teddy's Bigger Burgers for lunch!  Congratulations Jacob, on turning the big number one, and many blessings to you in this coming year!

The Hughes Family

My dear friends, the Hughes family, had a big old family reunion with Grandparents and siblings, and decided it was a great time to document the event with some family photos!  We got to do their session right at the beautiful home they rented right on Lanikai beach, the John Walker House, and even walk down to the beach for a bit.  Thanks guys for having me be a small part of your reunion time!

Nicole + Sean

This past weekend Jerome and I got to shoot the intimate wedding of Nicole and Sean "down by the bay" at the Kaneohe Yacht Club!  We started our day at Waimanalo's Angel Bay, and were blown away by the gorgeous colors of the beach… so vibrant!  Then we headed to the Yacht Club, and took some amazing shots by the tranquil bay.  Next Nicole and Sean were able to tie the knot overlooking the harbor and the sunset.  It was a memorable day!  Congratulations guys, and thank you for having us be a part of your special day!

Sheri & Zane's Engagement Session

This past week I got to hang out with with a cool couple from right here on Oahu, Sheri and Zane!  We found some great new spots at the always-beautiful Ho'omaluhia Botanical Gardens, and were blown away at the brightly blooming trees right now.  Thanks guys, for a fun morning; I can't wait to shoot your wedding next year!

The Mathews Family

The Mathews family visited Oahu this month with their extended family, and I and the privilege of meeting up with them on the North Shore for a family photo session.  We explored the beach at Malaekahana, and it was amazingly beautiful!  Thanks guys, for a fun afternoon, and having me be a small part of your vacation!

The Burt Family

This past week, I got to hang out with the Burt family at Ho'omaluhia Botanical Gardens and take some family photos.  Their older son and his family were in town visiting, so they wanted to do a session while they were all together, and of course with their ADORABLE grandkids (who stole the show)!  Thanks guys; I enjoyed documenting these memories for you!

Mindy & Scott's engagment session

I love shooting at the North Shore for so many reasons; it is just so raw and fresh and beautiful.  Mindy, Scott and I had a great time shooting their engagement session and enjoying the sunset on this balmy Hawaiian evening last week.  They are so in love, and I am so stoked to be able to shoot their wedding next year.  Thanks guys for the fun evening, and congratulations!

Kailer's Newborn session

This week I got to hang out with this cutie-patootie, Kailer, and his proud parents!  It is always such a privilege to get to do a maternity session for a couple and then to come meet their new baby a few weeks later for a newborn session (you can view Stefanie and Roger's maternity session here).  Congratulations guys, Kailer is a sweetheart!

Katie + Jose

This past week, Katie and Jose were married in a beautiful and private ceremony on the beach at Ko'olina, surrounded by just their parents, who were as happy and as proud as can be!  The sunset was spectacular that evening, and was a perfect ending to their special day.  Congratulations Katie and Jose, and thank you for having me be a small part of your big day!

The L'Heureux Family

Last week I was so excited to be able to meet up with past wedding clients of mine for a family portrait session (you can take a peek at highlights from Delia and Jason's Moli'i Gardens wedding here).  We met up with them and their family at Ho'omaluhia Gardens, and took advantage of the beautiful diffused light from the overcast afternoon.  Thanks guys for the reunion and the fun afternoon!
