Sutherland Family portraits

The Sutherland family had quite the gathering during the the holidays, and I had joy of seeing them all together, and taking their extended family portrait.  Rainstorms made us head for the patio once or twice, but everyone managed to stay mostly dry and we got some great shots!  What a fun family!

Popp's November Family Portrait

Well, it has been a busy holiday season, and I am finally finding the time to sit down and update my newest shoots on my blog...  Hooray!  Way back in November, I had the privilege of shooting the Popp's family portraits!  Baby Eva, was adorable, and and put on quite a show as an "angel baby". :)  Thank you Daniel, Jill and Eva for the great afternoon at the beach!

Maui's Puppy Portraits

This past week I had the privilege to shoot "puppy portraits" of the Gammel's new puppy Maui! Maui is a happy 4 month-old Golden Retriever, who was very good in front of the camera. We had a blast! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day:

Kenji's Graduation Portraits

Kenji and I had a great time shooting his senior portraits down at the tidepools at Kailua Beach. The day was a little overcast, but made for some great dramatic lighting.

Jessica's Graduation Portraits

Jessica and I (and Jerome, my great assistant!) went up to a beautiful park in Nu'uanu to take some pictures first, and from there to a lovely house in Lanikai. Jessica is so full of life and adventure... the shoot was so much fun! At one point we were even 30 feet up in a tree to get the "perfect light and branchs" in in background (and really just to climb the tree :)). Beautiful smile, Jessica!
