A Midsummer's Night Hope Fundraiser Event

This past Sunday night, Jerome and I had the privilege to volunteer our photography services at a fundraising event for a great cause at Sunset Ranch on the North Shore.  Courage Worldwide is an organization that builds homes worldwide for children rescued from sex trafficking.  Their next goal is to raise enough money to build a home on the North Shore of Oahu.

According to the U. S. Department of Justice, human trafficking has become the second fastest growing criminal industry - just behind drug trafficking - with children accounting for roughly half of all victims.  It is hard to imagine that this injustice is happening right here in our beautiful Hawaii, but it is!  Please visit their website by clicking here, to learn more about what this amazing organization is doing, or how you can donate and help raise awareness.

Blake & Ally's Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner

Blake and Ally had their wedding rehearsal at the beautiful Sacred Heart Parish Downtown.  The old church with vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows was just stunning. The bride-to-be was glowing, the wedding party was joyful and laughter was shared by everyone.  The party moved to the classy Outrigger Canoe Club in Waikiki, where dinner was served and we all enjoyed views of the the Waikiki shoreline glowing in the warm evening air.  Congratulations Blake and Ally!  I wish you all the best in your new life together as husband and wife!

Melissa Croll's Graduation

On June 19th, the Croll family celebrated Melissa's high school graduation ceremony in high style at the Mid Pacific Country Club in Lanikai, Oahu.  The morning was filled with worship, laughter and excitement from friends and family who gathered to celebrate Melissa's accomplishment, and bless her as she starts the next chapter of college life at Biola University in the fall (my Alma Mater... Go Biola!!!).  Congratulations Melissa!

Patrick Torkelson's Retirement Ceremony

On May 20th, I had the privileged of shooting the retirement ceremony of Patrick Torkelson from the United States Marine Corp. The morning was filled with excitement, and it was so evident his family and friends were overwhelmingly proud of him.  We dodged the raindrops, and took some fun family portraits around the Kaneohe Marine Corp base, too.  Congratulations, and good luck as you move to a new state and start an new chapter in your family's lives!
